
Dr. Oyetunde Oyedokun
Biography
Oyetunde Oyedokun is a healthcare manager and public health professional dedicated to improving the quality of care for diverse patient populations. Trained as a medical doctor in Nigeria, he transitioned into healthcare management and analytics after relocating to the United States. With extensive experience in healthcare data strategy and quality improvement, including supporting the Medicare and Medicaid STAR Ratings program, he brings a strong blend of clinical insight, data-driven leadership, and public health expertise to the LifeBloom Foundation.
Oyetunde holds an MBBS and earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he focused on health policy, maternal health, and healthcare quality. His professional strengths include healthcare analytics, policy analysis, program evaluation, strategic planning, and leadership development.
With a professional foundation that blends clinical experience, data-driven decision-making, and public health leadership, Oyetunde brings a unique perspective to the LifeBloom Foundation. His expertise spans healthcare analytics, public health research, policy analysis, strategic planning, program evaluation, and organizational leadership. These strengths allow him to support LifeBloom’s mission through evidence-based strategy, operational insight, and a deep understanding of the systemic issues that impact women’s health outcomes.
His connection to LifeBloom is deeply personal. As the husband of the organization’s founder, he has walked closely alongside her journey with endometriosis from her teenage years through years of pain, multiple surgeries, and extended infertility. Serving as her primary support system, he played a central role in advocating for proper care, navigating medical decisions, and supporting her through recovery. Their shared experience is part of the inspiration behind LifeBloom’s mission to empower young women through education, awareness, and community support.
A strong advocate for women’s health and youth empowerment, Oyetunde is passionate about advancing endometriosis awareness, promoting health equity, and strengthening community-based education for girls and young women. He also serves as a youth minister in his Church, mentors young people, and actively supports LifeBloom’s outreach initiatives.
He is married and the father of two daughters, and he enjoys public speaking, music, mentoring, and contributing to meaningful health and social impact programs.
