As the NAF Distinguished Academies of Engineering and IT director at Phelps ACE High School, Ola is passionate about harnessing the power of industry partnerships and engagement to transform the lives of her students.

With over 25 years of experience as an elementary, middle, and high school educator, Ola has built a reputation for fostering strong family relationships that drive positive student outcomes. Her philosophy is simple yet profound: “It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes multiple villages to educate a student.” Through her tireless efforts, Ola has established robust partnerships with numerous industries and organizations, providing her students with unique and authentic career experiences that prepare them for success.

Ola’s approach is built on high but realistic expectations, and she takes great joy in watching her students soar to exceed them. She recently retired from active service and is adjusting to life after retirement.
